Erickson Young of Lutz, Florida is the first winner of our Where Am I? online contest.

Erickson has won $25 Barnes and Noble Bookstore gift certificate for correctly identifying the "Coffin Door" in College Hall at Gallaudet University in Washington, DC

Erickson graduated from Gallaudet in 2003 with a B.A. degree in a double major of Government and Spanish. He will soon be heading to Latin America as a Peace Corps volunteer.

Erickson Young of Lutz, Florida correctly identified the "Coffin Door" at the south side of College Hall at Gallaudet University.

This unusual door leads to the outside. According to an old Gallaudet superstition, the door “promises new students a successful completion of their college years—if they remember not to pass through it.”
